Fall cuteness beware! Today we went to a pumpkin patch in Flower Mound, and while it wasn't the you-pick-it field of pumpkins I'd imagined, it was fun nonetheless.

This week in cooking/baking I have made batches of both vegetarian chili and butternut squash soup, and am planning on preparing some pumpkin yumminess from today's picks-probably pumpkin bread to freeze for the holidays as well as some pumpkin butter or frozen pie filling. I am not sure why I have to type over here on the right of the picture, but don't feel like dealing with layouts right now!
